We arrived in mid afternoon after 12+ hours on the road, 260 miles. The weather was better tod 90F. We were up at 4AM, dark with tons of stars. We arrived at the hotel in Goodland and settled in. Later, at dinner time all the Model T's drove to a dinner given by the village and hosted by thier Mayor. Up early, the mornings are OK, 85F by 8AM, later, 100F. Abilene is the home of the Eisenhower Presidential library. I was in the Van today, nice and cool in the van. The heat is not onll brutal on us but the cars too. Weather says it should be cooler starting tomorrow, I think 89F and 86F the next day...The pool water here at the hotel is hot...no use in going in it.
